A greens-and-hydration drink has to make sense as a beverage. Start with the intended occasion and water volume, then agree a botanical load and electrolyte specification that fit the product. Adding minerals to an existing greens powder is not enough to define its use.
Sodium, potassium and magnesium can be discussed as reference electrolyte directions. In a supplier brief, distinguish each salt’s input weight from its elemental mineral contribution. Two quotes that list the same weight of different compounds may describe different finished products.
Ask for the amount per serving, the intended dilution and the proposed use instructions. A daily lifestyle drink and an exercise-oriented formulation need different briefs; a green color does not establish sports performance or hydration claims.

Botanical aroma, bitterness, mineral finish and powder feel are separate sensory issues. Flavor modulation suppliers such as IFF describe targeted approaches to unwanted taste notes. A finished formulation still needs sampling: a masking system is not a guarantee that every greens blend will taste the same.
For a lighter drink, compare the base botanical load before adding more flavor. Then evaluate citrus or tropical directions with acidity and sweetness at a fixed dilution. If a sample is improved only by adding substantially more water, update the serving instructions and reassess the proposition.

A tub offers a home-use routine; powder sticks provide portioning for a gym bag or travel. Confirm bulk density, filling behavior, moisture protection and pack cost for the chosen format. A small stick is not automatically appropriate for every ingredient target.
List the target market, use occasion, botanical ingredients, elemental electrolyte amounts, serving weight, water volume, flavor preference, sweetener requirements and packaging. Agree the test methods, acceptance criteria and shelf-life work with the supplier.
Explore Greens + Hydration and compare Daily Greens Powder before deciding whether the range needs one product or two clearly differentiated SKUs. Neither flavor promises nor health claims should exceed the finished product evidence.
