Oral Dissolving Strips Manufacturer for Supplement Brands
Oral dissolving strips are thin functional films designed to disintegrate directly in the mouth without requiring water. For supplement development, the format is particularly suitable for compact active loads and requires careful control of taste, film integrity, moisture sensitivity, dissolution behavior and packaging. MITEYO reviews those connected requirements with the intended consumer, market and serving before developing a commercial specification.

What are oral dissolving strips?
Oral dissolving strips are thin functional films designed to disintegrate directly in the mouth without requiring water. MITEYO reviews those connected requirements with the intended consumer, market and serving before developing a commercial specification.
Develop the film and the formula together
A strip is a complete delivery format, not simply a smaller powder serving. Ingredient density, solubility and bitterness affect the film-forming system; the finished film must also remain flexible enough for handling and compatible with its individual sachet. Begin with target ingredients and amounts per serving, then review strip size, weight, thickness, mouthfeel and dissolution characteristics. Avoid committing to artwork before the formula and packaging route have been reviewed.
Choose a development route
Ready-to-Brand starts from an existing product direction, subject to availability and market review. Semi-Custom adjusts selected ingredients, flavor, sweetening system or packaging around a reviewed platform. Full ODM starts with the commercial concept and technical brief. Each route still needs sample review and an agreed specification; choosing a route does not establish a fixed MOQ, price or lead time.
Can your formula work in an oral strip?
Oral films have substantially less physical ingredient capacity than powders, capsules, gummies and tablets. Very low milligram loads are usually suitable; 10–50 mg is often practical depending on the ingredient; 50–150 mg needs formulation-specific review. Several hundred milligrams becomes increasingly challenging, while gram-level actives usually suit other formats better. These are development discussion ranges, not universal engineering limits or promises for a particular ingredient.
Explore product directions
Review Energy, Focus, Hydration, Endurance and Sports Performance within the existing range. Caffeine + L-Theanine, Sleep and Calm are additional development concepts. Vitamin directions can be discussed through a formula brief without creating a separate Phase 2 product page. Ingredient choice, serving design and permitted positioning remain project-specific.
Discuss the next development step
Send your market, ingredient priorities, target serving, flavor direction and preferred packaging. We will use the brief to identify the questions that need a formulation and production review.
Send your product briefQuestions for your development brief
Is oral film the same as sublingual delivery?
No. Dissolving in the mouth describes the physical format. Sublingual delivery requires intentional design and supporting evidence; it should not be assumed from the appearance or name of a strip.
Can I provide my own formula brief?
Yes. Share ingredient priorities, target amounts per serving, market, consumer and package preference. Identify which requirements are essential. The review assesses whether the complete formula can work as a film; it does not assume every proposed ingredient or load is feasible.
How are samples evaluated?
Agree the sample objectives before development. Review taste, mouthfeel, film appearance, handling and dissolution, then consider the intended sachet and relevant stability requirements. Record specific feedback so the next development decision is clear.
What determines MOQ and lead time?
The formulation, ingredient sourcing, package structure, print requirements, sampling work and production review affect commercial arrangements. MOQ, price and timing are project-specific; request a quotation against the reviewed brief instead of assuming fixed numbers.
Can packaging and artwork be customized?
Discuss individual sachets, cartons, pocket or trial formats and the intended sales channel. Final artwork must match the actual formula, serving and required market information. Barrier and sealing requirements are reviewed along with the film.
